What the site sees, and what it does not.
This is a static educational website. Its analytics setup is kept small: Google Analytics 4 helps the publisher understand aggregate visits and page performance. It is not used to read or transmit the content someone types into a tool.
01 / Measurement
Aggregate visits, not carving notes.
GA4 is loaded on the site’s pages to report standard website measurements such as page views, browser/device context, approximate geography, and referrers. These reports help decide which existing guides need clearer links or maintenance. The publisher does not use the setup to build a personal profile for advertising.
The site does not configure GA4 to receive the values of the homepage search box, the newsletter field, the project save buttons, or any feedback text. The newsletter interaction currently displays a local confirmation only; it does not submit an address to a mailing service.
02 / Boundaries
Keep the private parts private.
- Do not enter names, email addresses, personal stories, or other sensitive information into the project search or any on-page field.
- Do not use the craft guidance as medical, legal, or professional safety advice.
- The feedback page is local-only: its text is not transmitted or stored by this site.
- Third-party services such as Google may process standard request and measurement data under their own terms and policies.

03 / Notice
A visible, modest choice.
A small notice appears until it is dismissed. Dismissing it is remembered in this browser using local storage; that preference is not sent to the publisher. Dismissing the notice does not claim to disable Google Analytics. If you do not want analytics cookies or similar measurements, use your browser’s privacy controls or a content blocker.
This page explains the current static-site setup as of 31 August 2026. If the analytics implementation changes, this page should be reviewed with it.
